The Qualcomm Innovator Challenge is an initiative from Qualcomm designed to recognize and award creativity. With this competition, Qualcomm is challenging budding engineering talent to innovate on the 3G CDMA (CDMA2000, WCDMA) wireless platforms, timed aptly prior to the 3G roll-out in India. Invitation is open to all under graduate engineering students participating at Techfest 2008.

Qualcomm has always been associated with innovation and this contest is in keeping with the company's vision of creating novel path-breaking wireless technologies and solutions. This initiative is an endeavor to motivate and promote undergraduate engineers to contribute to the next-gen telecom scenario and harness their talent towards this end. It provides an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their intellectual prowess and carve a niche for themselves in the fast-growing telecom sector in the country.

1. Problem statement

Design an application that positively enhances either productivity, communication, entertainment or lifestyle (or a combination of all) using 3G CDMA (CDMA2000, WCDMA) wireless technologies.
