2.1 Track Specifications

1. The race track will be a cemented track with left, right and U turns, Hairpins. A tentative track is shown in Fig 1. The track design as of now is tentative and any changes made in the same will be highlighted on this page.

2. The total length of the track (including the turns) will be 60 to 70m. The track width will vary between 2m to 3m.

3. Two machines will race on a single lane track at a time.

4. A lap of the track is defined to be completed when the machine comes back to the start-finish line.

5. Control Space: Elevated standing position for better control will be provided as shown in the race track picture as above. Please note that this space will be elavated from the track level slightly, which will improve the controlling by a participant team by improving the visibility of the whole track at a single sight . The controlling of machine has to be done from this site only.
