2.1 Track Specifications

1. The machine has to start behind the start line that will be 0.5m from the edge of the track in water.

2. At a distance of 9m from the start line there will be an obstacle of length 0.8m and a width of 1.5m floating on water track. The height of the obstacle above the water surface will be 0.04m.

4. The track will continue further for a distance of 3.2m after the obstacle zone. A Finish Line will be marked at a total length of 13m from the start line.

5. There will be a rectangular ring of height 0.9m (0.45m above and 0.45m below water) and width 0.4m, at the Finish Line. The machine has to pass through the ring to finish successfully.

6. The width of the water track will be 1.5m. Any machine going off the track during its run will be disqualified.

• The event will be conducted in Swimming pool of IIT Bombay and there might be disturbances on the water surface so do take these factors into consideration while fabrication of your machine.
