Participants will have to launch their glider from 4rth story of a building whose floor it at a height of 14 meters from ground.
Glider has to be launched from a window (balcony) of dimensions 4.5 m x 1.17 m (breadth x height). Refer to figure 1 for details.

Landing zone is in a lawn in front of the building from where glider is launched.
Centre of the landing zone is at a distance of 40 meters from foot of the building. It will be marked by a flag post. (refer to figure 2 for flag post's position)
A windsock will be provided to give participants an idea of wind conditions at the venue. The competition will be in an open area and there might be variations in wind conditions. Participants are required to take these factors into consideration while fabricating their machine.
It should be noted that there are trees in the vicinity. Refer to pictures and schematics to understand the geography of arena.
