The last date of registration for participants who won't require accomodation at IIT Bombay is extended to 10th of January 2008.

Knowledge, skill, creativity and determination: if you have it, flaunt it at any of the competitions at Techfest 2008. A modern day Colosseum for the next generation of gladiators, the battle for supremacy can never get bigger than this. This is a chance for all the ardent tech enthusiasts to showcase their talents on an international platform. Set your brains racking, put your dexterity to test and think out of the box; after all it is all about the man and his machine.

Competitions at Techfest 2008 have been divided into four sections:

• Analogic: This section explores the technology required for creating an alternate to mankind: humanoids.




• Xtreme Machines: From Formula-1 cars to mighty cranes, tame the next generation of technological beasts as you race with time.




• LIFE 2.0: Delve into the innards of the human body or create energy saving devices, all for the greater good of mankind.




• Innovision: Innovate and invent; the sky is your limit.
