Techfest summons Gamers from all over India for this Huge Tournament who will battle it out for a huge Prize Pool of 2 Lakhs for DOTA-2.
The event consists of both online qualifiers and LAN Playoffs. All Teams will play knockout matches online (Bo1) and will progress to further rounds. Top 8 teams will then be invited for the LAN PLayoffs at Techfest, IIT Bombay during 29th-31st December. Semi-Finals and Finals will both be Bo3.

Format:

  • GAME MODE - Captains Mode
  • LOBBY PASSWORD -Will be provided to the team captains by the moderators 30 minutes prior to the official start of the match
  • SERVER LOCATION - SEA/India
  • STARTING TEAM - Will be decided by toss. If one team chooses the side the other team gets draft choice and vice versa.
  • PENALTY-RADIANT - chosen by the moderator/admin
  • PENALTY-DIRE - chosen by the moderator/admin
  • SERIES TYPE - chosen by the moderator
  • Enable cheats - No
  • Fill empty slots with bots - No
  • All Chat - No
  • BOT DIFFICULTY - free choice

  • Rules (to be strictly followed):
  • General Game Specific Rules for DOTA-2 should be followed
  • Major penalties are given for major incidents such as deliberately deceiving admins, failing to show up formatches, repeated rule breaking, and any activities will violate the General Code of Conduct
  • All broadcasting rights of the Tournament are owned by the tournament organizers
  • All matches in the Tournament should start as stated on the website, no changes to the time can be requested. All Teams and Players in a match should be on the server or in the game lobby and ready to go at the latest 15 minutes before the match is to start
  • When cheating is uncovered, The Team will be disqualified from the current tournament and future Techfest tournaments as well. The use of suspisious programs will result in a cheat ban, other programs or methods may be considered cheats as well like- using different players account.
  • To make any changes in the team roster, Team leader needs to send a mail at gamersleague@techfest.org for the same before the registrations are closed with appropriate reasoning
  • Just in case any team is unable to make it to the lan final venue. The next best contender will replace that team
  • In case of any dispute, Organizers decision will be final and binding for all
