"With the arrival of the new comes the need to overcome fascination with novelty in order to approach substance and sophistication - a sophistication born of subtlety and depth of perception, not complexity and perceived virtuosity."
-John Paul Caponigro

This is something which has never been heard of and experienced by anyone in India. Techfest 2013 introduces a whole new genre called Technical Arts. Bringing in few of the finest and most respected artists and art organizations from all over the world, the Technical Arts Festival aims to demonstrate few of the finest pieces of technical arts forming perfect amalgamation of modern art and technology. Each artwork at display will have technicalities and information which when revealed and explained will leave you awestruck. First look makes them look like a wonderful art piece but when you go deeper, the intricate technical procedure behind each one of them will make you realize that its not only wonderful its an "intelligent and technical" artwork. The segment brings in artworks which are most unique like the art pieces on rice paper depicting crime rates, artworks made using the color diffusion of white light as primary technique, artworks which have been made using advanced technologies like Microsoft Kinect, computer arts, digital arts and many more such odd, unique and creative sounding concepts. You will experience a whole new world where art works are derived from very intricate computer, technical and visual applications.
