Introduction
It's time to think out of the box and get your grey cell engines vrooming. Techfest always had its legacy of uniting India on a unified platform and give its contestants a platform to be proud of. Living true to its legacy, Techfest 2012 gives its participants, Nexus: Behind Enemy Lines, a complete concoction of mechanical and grid challenges.Initiated in Techfest 2007 with a vision to take robotics to every corner of India, Nexus is held as a preliminary level competition from where the top three winners of each centre are selected to compete against the best in the country in the iNexus Indian Finale: No Man's Land to be held at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
The teams emerging victorious will then go on to compete against the best in the world in International Robotics Challenge: The Grand Finale This year Nexus will be held at five strategic centers, spanning throughout the country's length and breadth.
Central Zone: Medi-Caps Institute of Technology and Management, Indore (2nd October, 2011)
South Zone: R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore (16th October, 2011)
North Zone: PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh (2nd October, 2011)
East Zone: ITER, Bhubaneswar (16th October, 2011)
West Zone: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai (25th September, 2011)
