Day 1
(Slot 1 - 9AM to 12PM)

1. Discussion on the paper “What is photography?” copy given to participants well in advance for them to study the document
2. Discussion on photo editing

(Slot 2 - 1PM to 5PM)

1. Photo Walk, initially led by instructor later on with the associates

Day 2
(Slot 1 - 9AM to 12PM)

1. Photo Shoot continued, assisted by associates

(Slot 2 - 1PM to 5PM)

1. Photo Shoot continued, assisted by associates
2. One Hour Doubt session with the instructor

Day 3
(Starts at 9AM)

1. Interactive session with the instructor

Eligibility
Participants having a valid ID card of their respective educational institutions are eligible for the workshop.

Pre Requisites
The Participants must bring their own Digital Camera (that they are familiar with) and a laptop with software Adobe Photo Shop and Adobe Bridge installed. The participants must have basic knowledge of photography as this is an advanced-level photography workshop.

Shortlisting Criteria
Due to limitations on the number of people we can offer place at Techfest workshops, we follow a scrutinizing process. The participants will have to fill in a questionnaire based on which short listing shall be done.

After the questions has been answered name the file as XXXXX.pdf where XXXXX is the team id. Attach the file and mail it to photography_workshop@techfest.org with Subject : “Your registration number”,Techfest 2012 Photography Workshop subject.

Last Date for submission of application form is 11th December, 2011

Payment Details
The cost of the workshop is Rs 1500/- for every individual Details of the payment mode will be mailed to the participants after registration for the workshop.

Certificate Criterion
All participants should be present in all the sessions. Failing this, no certificate shall be awarded to the participant.

Due to limited availability of seats for the workshop, registrations will be done purely on first come first serve basis.

Making a payment for the workshop does NOT guarantee accommodation during the festival.

Cost of the workshop:

• Rs. 1500/- per participant
• In order to proceed with your registration you are required to deposit the amount via DD(preferably via Speed - Post).
• DD should be made in the name of "Techfest Workshop" payable Mumbai.
• After registering, a scanned copy of the DD must be e-mailed to photography_workshop@techfest.org. After sending the scanned copy, a confirmation mail would be sent to the participants. Participants must courier the DD only when they receive the confirmation mail.
  NOTE : If the participants courier the DD without sending the scanned copy first, their DD WONT be accepted.
• Scanned copy of the DD should be mailed before 22nd December, 2011.
• The mail of the scanned copy of the DD should be in following format:
  
  Subject: Participant id_payment (This is to be STRICTLY followed.)
  example – SPW 1001_payment
  Content:
  
  • DD number
  • Participant details (Participant's name, email id, contact number)
  • Accommodation Required – Yes/No (Preference will be given to those that do not require accommodation)
  • Attachment : Scanned copy of the DD.
• Courier us the DD at the below mentioned address -

  Your registration will be confirmed once we receive the DD. Your DD should reach us by 22nd December, 2011.

  • Workshop Name
  NOTE : DD’s that do not have the following details written on the back side will be straightaway rejected.
  
  In the event of requiring accommodation, participants are requested to make the payment at their own RISK. Techfest 2012 does not guarantee accommodation for the workshop. If in case Techfest is able to provide accommodation, details regarding the same will be notified to the participants.
