Techfest was born out of the motive of spreading science, technology and robotics throughout the country and over the last 13 years of its growth, it has gone a long way to achieve this. And in line with its tradition of bringing something unique to provide a platform to the budding scientists and engineers to showcase their talent, we here introduce World Challenge, a common platform for Indian and International Participants to compete.

Indian teams are allowed to participate directly to the Indian finals of the penultimate round of the World Challenge: Mars Manoeuvre, on winning the regional competition of Nexus: NaviGate at any nexus centre.

International teams will get direct entries to the finals of the World Challenge: The Grand Finale on winning the iNexus at the respective iNexus centres.

Any Indian or International Team, who missed the opportunity to participate in regional eliminations of Nexus and iNexus respectively, can also participate in world challenge through the eliminations of Mars Manoeuvre at Techfest 2011, India.

The winners of Mars Manoeuvre will then compete against the best in the World in the finals of the World Challenge:
The Grand Finale to be held at Techfest 2011, India.
