A quadcopter, also called a quadrotor helicopter or quadrotor, is a multirotor helicopter that is lifted and propelled by four rotors. Quadcopters are classified as rotorcraft, as opposed to fixed-wing aircraft, because their lift is generated by a set of rotors

Duration: 2 Days [8 hrs per day]

Venue: IIT Bombay

Cost of Workshop:₹ 7,000/- per team

Team can consist of maximum 5 members

Refund Deadline: 1st November 2017, No Refunds will be entertained after the Deadline.

**Limited number of seats

**If the Workshop gets cancelled, all the participants will be given full refund, irrespective of the Deadline.

  • RF Remote
  • Propeller
  • Kit Distribution
  • Introduction to kit contents

Session​ ​2:
  • Introduction to Arduino Microcontroller
  • Installation of Arduino IDE
  • Programming for Motor control
  • Programming for Motor Speed Control
  • Working of Motor driver with Microcontroller

Session​ ​3:
  • Constructional Concepts Quadcopter Frame.
  • Assembly and Construction of quadcopter
  • Connection consideration of various configurations
  • Operation of Gyroscopes Micro Controller KK2.1.5

Session​ ​4:
  • Calibration of KK Flight control board
  • Motor Testing with Remote
  • Android App/ RF Remote Testing with Quadcopter
  • Group wise Flying session

RULES

Eligibility :
Participants having a valid ID card of their respective educational institutions are eligible for the workshop.

Team specifications :
Participants will have to register in a team with maximum of five members in it.

Prerequisites :
Each participant should bring one laptop with CD-ROM drive and a working laptop Webcam preferably with Windows 8 OS or above (No VISTA).

Certificate criterion :
Participants should be present in all the sessions. Failing this, no certificate will be awarded to the participant.
